That means the R16 Ultra can deliver powerful and consistent force feedback through corners, braking zones and high-speed sections.

More importantly, the system isn’t only about raw power. MOZA has focused on improving the clarity and smoothness of the feedback, helping drivers feel changes in grip, road texture, weight transfer and vehicle balance.

The R16 Ultra is aimed at drivers who have already moved beyond entry-level belt-driven or lower-power systems and want a more advanced direct-drive experience.

The high-density flat-wire motor provides increased torque density while keeping the motor relatively compact. MOZA says its design delivers 12% higher torque density than similarly sized competitors.

The 21-bit magnetic encoder provides over two million points of resolution, helping capture extremely small steering movements.

For competitive racing, this level of precision can be especially useful when trying to understand subtle changes in tire grip and vehicle behavior.

🧠 Faster Processing with a 600 MHz CPU

Another interesting upgrade is the 600 MHz processor.

The higher processing capability helps the system process vehicle data quickly and supports MOZA’s newer force-feedback algorithms.

The result should be a more immediate connection between what’s happening in the simulation and what you feel through the steering wheel.

🌈 Racing Looks as Good as It Feels

MOZA has also added dual RGB light strips to the R16 Ultra.

The lighting can be customized with up to 16.7 million colors, and can display telemetry-related effects such as ABS, traction control, gear shifts and flags.

The CNC-machined aluminum construction also gives the wheelbase a premium, motorsport-inspired appearance while providing the rigidity needed for a 16 Nm direct-drive system.

🔧 Easy to Build Into a MOZA Setup

One of the biggest advantages for existing MOZA users is ecosystem integration.

The R16 Ultra can connect directly with compatible MOZA pedals, dashboards, shifters, handbrakes and emergency-stop accessories, helping keep the setup organized without requiring multiple USB connections.

It also supports bottom, front and side mounting, giving sim racers more flexibility when installing it on a cockpit.
